Believe in youth futsal! As we have often pointed out in the past decades there's no other way to create the future stars of our sport. It's a huge work, done behind the shadows, but when young athletes are able to emerge and establish themselves as first-class players... you will find out there's no greater satisfaction thah this.
That's why since 2004 we are celebrating the
Best Young Player of the World awards category, and young stars will be a basic "chapter" of the
UMBRO Futsal Awards 2017!
With the introduction of futsal in the
Youth Olympic Games 2018 in Buenos Aires some Confederations and National FAs have finally received the "right impulse", adding youth challenges in the international fixture. But a huge load of work is still to be done, as many countries still struggle "creating" futsal players.
