JBU Gets $15K Grant for Futsal Courts

SILOAM SPRINGS, AR.-- - John Brown University was awarded a $15,000 grant to help fund the Futsal Courts installation.

The grant was given by the U.S. Soccer Foundation as part of the Safe Places to Play program. The program gives funds to build or maintain space to play.

"JBU is grateful to the U.S. Soccer Foundation for this grant to create a facility that will support the thriving soccer community at JBU and in Siloam Springs," JBU President Dr. Chip Pollard said.

The Futsal courts will be a 120-by-150 hard surface facility that will consist of two smaller courts and one larger court. The courts are expected to be completed this spring.
