Mercantile Futsal tournament this weekend

With the motive of promoting Futsal in Sri Lanka, the Mercantile Football Association is all set to host its maiden Futsal tournament at Futsal World, Colombo 10 this weekend.

A total of 40 matches are scheduled to be played with the participation of 24 teams from the Mercantile sector.

Considering the potential and the interest displayed towards futsal, the association intends to continue hosting the tournament on a yearly basis.

Airport and Aviation, Akbar Brothers, Amana Bank, Amana Takaful ‘A’, Amana Takaful ‘B’, Ceylinco Insurance, Ceylon Business Appliances, Citizen Development Bank, Colombo Dockyard, Commercial Bank, Expo Lanka Freight, Galadari Hotel, Hatton National Bank, Hong Kong and Shanghai Bank (HSBC), John Keells, Lake House, LB Finance, Seylan Bank, Softlogic Group, Sri Lanka Telecom, Standard Chartered Bank, Virtusa Ltd and WNS Group.
