Providence College Women’s Soccer To Hold Futsal Festival and One-Day ID Clinic

The event will be put on by the Sam Lopes Soccer Leadership Academy.

The women’s soccer coaching staff announced their annual Futsal Festival and One-Day ID Clinic to be held on January 14th and 15th, to be put on by the Sam Lopes Soccer Leadership Academy.

The Futsal Festival will be held on Saturday, Jan. 14, 2017 in the Peterson Recreation Center at Providence College. The event is open to all girl’s teams U8-U18. The event consists of three 26-minute games, a juggling contest, selfie station, and a team photo station.

The One-Day ID Clinic will be held on Sunday, Jan. 15, 2017 at Providence College. Registration is open to girls grades 8 and above. Head Coach Sam Lopes and coaching staff will lead a 5-hour clinic giving female athletes a collegiate athletic experience through technical training (position specific), small-sided tactical games, a recruiting seminar, and a question and answer segment with current Providence College Women’s Soccer team members. ​
