Limbu treble lifts Harisiddhi

Nov 10, 2016- Rajesh Limbu struck a hat-trick as Harisiddhi edged Kirtipur Futsal 4-3 in the Red Bull Futsal League on Wednesday.

Limbu struck in the seventh, 12th and 28th minutes to help his side maintain lead at the top of Group ‘B’ table. They now have 11 points from six matches. Kritipur have only four poins from six matches. Apart from man-of-the-match Limbu, Lal Bahadur Tamang also added the other for the home team. Apex Maharjan struck twice and Yaman Maharjan scored another for the away team.

Shankhamul Futsal and Tahachal Futsal have 10 points each from five games but the former lead the table on better goal difference.

Chaur Futsal Hub made the most of their home ground to hammer Imperial Futsal 7-2 after Rabijung Shahi, Sudeep Gurung and Sanjog Maharjan netted a brace in Bansbari. Sanjay Singh Thakuri added the other for Chaur. Nirajan Gaire and Deepak Ghising replied for Imperial. Chaur goalkeeper Yudin Khadka was named the man-of-the-match.

Following Wednesday’s result, Chaur and Imperial are tied on six points each after playing six matches in Group ‘A’. Kickoff Futsal are unbeaten in the tournament to lead Group ‘A’ with 15 points from five games. Baneshwor Recreational Centre are second in the table with 10 points from five games.
