The new era in Serbian futsal started on past week. After 10 amazing years spent with Aca Kovačević on the bench, the Serbian national team has now a new head coach: Goran Ivančić.
Former coach of KMF Niš and KMF Marbo Belgrade in their "golden years" (national champions and 7th place in UEFA Futsal Cup), Ivančić also took part in the UEFA Futsal EURO 2012 and FIFA Futsal World Cup 2012 as assistant coach of Aca Kovačević.
In last 10 years national team of Serbia played four times in the UEFA Futsal EURO (Portugal 2007 - 5th place, Hungary 2010 and Croatia 2012 - quarter finals and Serbia 2016 - 4th place) and one time at FIFA Futsal World Cup (Thailand 2012 - round of 16).
Goran Ivančić's adventure started through two friendlies vs Netherlands celebrated on past monday and tuesday in Novi Sad (2-2) and Zrenjanin (3-2 win).
