1st Bulua Fiesta Ladies Futsal tilt set on Dec. 3-4

THE fast-rising Bulua Strikers FC will host the first ever Bulua Fiesta Ladies Futsal Cup on December 3 to 4 at the Bulua National High School gym in Cagayan de Oro City.

According to tournament organizer Junieto Actub, the tournament is intended only for public schools from Cagayan de Oro city and will have three categories, the Girls 17 (born 1999 and after), Girls 14 (born 2002 and after) and Girls 12 (born 2004 and after).

“I am inviting all public schools in CdO (Cagayan de Oro City) that have Girls Futsal teams to join the competition. We will have fun and at the same time celebrate the feast of the Immaculate Conception, the patroness of Bulua.”

He also added that the tournament is limited only to public schools because they want to give them the chance to compete at their own level.

“If we invite private schools then they will definitely dominate the tournament and might discourage the schools from the public school. Next time we will invite them,” he said.

Interested teams are required to submit the original and photo copies of their NSO Birth certificates, school ID or certificate of enrolment, and the LRN numbers of the players.

Registration fee is P300 while the deadline of the submission of entries is on December 1, 2016. Winners will get trophies and medals.

The tournament is sanctioned by the local FA Mocagesco and the Philippine Football Federation and sponsored by the Bulua National High School, Bulua Central School, Bulua Brangay Council and SunStar CdO Inc.
