Visiting White Horse beats Dhuku Futsal

KATHMANDU, Oct 25: White Horse Futsal emerged victorious in Group A match of the Red Bull Futsal League while Sankhamul and Harisiddhi Futsal shared points during the matches played in the capital on Tuesday.

Visiting White Horse stunned Dhuku Futsal Hub, Maharajgunj 3-2. Manoj Prajapati, Nitesh Maharjan and Ritesh Lama netted a goal each for the winning team. Abil Hamid netted twice for Dhuku but failed to prevent the defeat of the home team. Ritesh of White Horse was declared the man-of-the-match.

Following the win, White Horse has seven points from four matches. Dhuku, meanwhile, has six points after playing equal number of matches. Kick Off Futsal leads the standings in Group A with nine points from four matches.

Shankhamul Futsal and Harisiddhi Futsal shared the spoils after a 4-4 draw in Group B. In the match played at Sankhamul's home turf, Abhaya Rana netted twice for the home team while Sher Bahadur Thapa and Biplav Dhoj Shahi were also on target. Raifi Maharjan and Lal Bahadur Tamang netted twice for Harisiddhi. The visiting team's goalkeeper Niraj Maharjan, who made some heroic saves, was declared the man-of-the-match.

Both Sankhamul and Harisiddhi have seven points each in Group B after playing equal four matches. Sankhamul is ahead of Harisiddhi by the virtue of better goal difference. Tahachal leads the group with nine points after playing equal matches.

The tournament is the event with highest cash prize in domestic futsal. The winner and the runner-up teams will get richer by Rs 1 million and Rs 500,000 respectively. Sixteen teams from Kathmandu, Bhaktapur and Lalitpur are participating in the event.

White Horse beat Dhuku

White Horse Futsal registered an important victory to go second in Group ‘A’ points table in the first Red Bull Futsal League on Tuesday.

In their fourth match, White Horse won 3-2 away at Dhuku Futsal Hub to register seven points in the table. Manoj Prajapati, Nitesh Maharjan and Ritesh Lama scored a goal each for the winners, while Abil Hameed struck twice for the losing side. Kickoff Futsal lead the Group ‘A’ table with 12 points. Dhuku are second in the table with six points from four games. Lama was adjudged the man-of-the-match.

In another Group ‘B’ match, Shankhamul and Harisiddhi Futsal played a 4-4 draw. In the match held in Shankhamul, Abhay Rana scored a brace with Sher Bahadur Thapa and Biplab Dhoj Shah added one each. Refi Maharjan and Lal Bahadur Tamang scored two goals each for Harisiddhi. Goalkeeper Niraj Maharjan of Harisiddhi was adjudged the player-of-the-match.

After the completion of four games, Shankhamul and Harisiddhi have seven points each. Tahachal Futsal lead the Group ‘B’ table with nine points from four games.

Rajani thumps Adarsha

KATHMANDU, Oct 26: Rajani Futsal on Wednesday emerged victorious in the ongoing Red Bull National Futsal League while Highway and BG Brothers played a draw in the matches held in home-and-away format.

In the Ggroup A match held at Adarsha Futsal's turf, Rajani registered 7-2 victory over the home team. Rusan KC alone netted five goals for the winning team while Suman Karki contributed two goals. Abiral Rijal and Sanjay Baniya netted one each for Adarsha. Rajani's Suman was declared the man-of-the-match.

Kick Off Futsal leads Group A standings with 12 points from four matches.

Similarly in Group B match, Highway and BG Brothers settled for a 2-2 draw. Bigyan Katwal and Ramesh Ghising netted one goal each for the home team, Highway, while Suman Gurung and Akash Lama contributed goals for BG. Highway's Bigyan was declared the man-of-the-match. Tahachal is currently at the top of Group B standings with nine points.

Rajani hammer Adarsha

Rajani Futsal hammered Adarsha Futsal 7-2 in the Red Bull National Futsal League on Wednesday.

Rusan KC scored five goals alone and man-of-the-match Suman Karki added two for Rajani in the Group ‘A’ encounter. Abiral Rijal and Sanjay Baniya replied for home team Adarsha Futsal. Kickoff Futsal stay at the top of the Group ‘A’ standings with 12 points.
Highway Futsal were held to a 2-2 at their own backyard by BG Brothers in another Group ‘B’ match. Bigyan Katwal and Ramesh Ghising scored fro Highway, while Suman Gurung and Akash Lama converted for BG Brothers. Kawal was adjudged the man-of-the-match. Tahachal Futsal lead the Group ‘B’ standings with nine points.

In all 16 teams are participating the lucrative tournament. The eventual champions will walk away wit Rs 1 million and the runners-up will receive Rs 500,000. The best player and goalkeeper will also get Rs 50,000 each.

Baneshwar triumphs

KATHMANDU, Oct 27: Baneshwar Recreation Futsal Center emerged victorious on Thursday as Kirtipur and Kumari Futsal shared points playing 3-3 draw in the Red Bull National Futsal League being held in the capital.

In group A match, Baneshwar playing at its home turf registered a comprehensive 7-4 win over Imperial Futsal. Sanjay Lama completed a hat-trick for winning team while Dipu Lama netted twice. Mansajan Rajbhandari and Curfew Rasaili were also on targets. Sandesh Silwal netted two goals for Imperial while Kishan Adhikari and Niraj Gaire added one each. Kishan was declared the man-of-the-match.

Following the outcome, Baneshwar stands third with seven points after playing four matches. Imperial is second from bottom in the eight team contest with three points. Kick Off Futsal leads the standings with 12 points.

In the match played at Kumari Futsal, Paknajol, Ashis Tamang scored twice for the home team and Rajiv Lopsang added another. Yaman Maharjan scored a brace for visiting Kirtipur and John Maharjan added another.

Following the draw, Kumari stands third with seven points in group B after playing four matches. Kirtipur is seventh with four points. Tahachal Futsal leads the standings with nine points.

Baneshwor beat Imperial in a goal-glut

Home team Baneshwor Recreational Centre defeated Imperial Futsal 7-4 in an 11-goal-glut under the Red Bull National Futsal League tournament on Thursday.

Sanjay Shrestha struck a hat-trick to hand the hosts victory, while Dipu Lama added a brace. Mansajan Rajbhandari and Curfew Rasaili also scored a goal each for Baneshwor. Sandesh Silwal scored twice, while Kishan Adhikari and Niraj Gaire replied with one goal each for the away team. Adhikari was named the man-of-the-match.

Following the result, Baneshwor stay third in Group ‘A’ table with seven points from four matches. Kickoff Futsal lead the table with 12 points from as many games, while White Horse (seven points) are second on goal difference. Imperial have three points from four games.

In another match, Kirtipur and Kumari Futsal played a 3-3 draw in Group ‘B’. Yaman Maharjan netted two goals for Kirtipur and John Maharjan added the other. Ashish Tamang scored twice for Kumari and Rajeev Lopsang scored one for the home team. Kumari are third in the group with seven points and Kirtipur are seventh with four points after four matches. Tahachal Futsal are currently leading the Group ‘B’ table with nine points.
