The Kathamndu PostShankhamul rout SamajikOct 21, 2016Shankhamul Futsal hammered Samajik Futsal 7-4 in the Red Bull National Futsal League on Thursday.
Held at their own backyard, Suraj Maharjan and Sher Bahadur Thapa Magar scored two goals each for Shankhamul. Visiting Samajik Futsal got two goals from Sandip Thapa and one apiece from Santosh Tamang and Subash Baniya. Suraj won the man-of-the-match award.
In another match held at Chaur Futsal in Bansbari, hosts Chaur played out a 2-2 draw against White Horse Futsal. Rochak Gurung and Ramesh Gurung scored for the home team, while Manoj Prajapati struck twice for White Horse. Prajapati was named the man-of-the-match.
Rajani Futsal will take on Dhuku Futsal in Bhaisepati and Highway Futsal will play against Harisiddhi Futsal on Friday. A total 16 teams are participating in the tournament organised by the AMA Events. The champions of the highest cash-prized futsal event of the country will receive Rs 1 million. Runners-up will earn Rs 500,000.

The Kathamndu PostAway teams Dhuku, Harisiddhi winOctober 21, 2016KATHMANDU. Away teams Dhuku Futsal Hub and Harisiddhi Futsal emerged victorious in the Redbull National Futsal League held on Friday.
Dhuku thumped home team Rajani Futsal, Bhaisepati 8-2. Skipper Suraj Raut starred for the visiting side scoring a double hat-trick. Sabin Khadka and Siddhanta Basnet were also on target for the winning team. Skipper Suraj of Dhuku was declared the man-of-the-match.
Following the win, Dhuku Futsal climbed on top of Group A in the points table. Dhuku has six points after two draws and a win. Kickoff Futsal with a match advantage over the leader is also level on points with Dhuku.
Harisiddhi edged past Highway Futsal 2-0 in another match played at the latter's home turf.
Niraj Maharjan and Raifi Maharjan were on target for the winning team. Harisiddhi skipper Kamal Tamang won the man-of-the-match award.
Harisiddhi is level on points with Group B leader Sankhamul Futsal with equal six points. Kumari Futsal is behind Harisiddhi on the basis of goal difference.
The event being organized by AMA Events on home and away basis is participated by 16 futsal teams. The winner of the tournament will walk home with purse of Rs 1 million and the runner-up will get richer by Rs 500,000.
