Defeat Russia 5-4 to capture World Cup

The finals curse has ended for Argentina, or for their futsal team at least, as the Albiceleste defeated Russia 5-4 to seal their first ever Futsal World Cup.An Alan Brandi brace went a long way in tilting the match in Argentina's favour. The Russians didn't give up despite trailing in the second half, and late goals from Lyskov and Eder Lima made it a nervy end to the final.Yet the Argentinian defence held strong and the blue and white prevailed, frustrating their opponents until the match, and tournament, came to a close.
