Futsal National Team debuts in FIFA World Championship with a solid win

Costa Rica’s male Futsal National Team defeated Salomon Islands 4-2 in their first game of the FIFA FutSal World Championship Colombia 2016. The first goal came at minute 18 of the first half by La Sele’s captain Alejandro Paniagua. The second half included goals by Carlos Chavez and a penalty in favor of Costa Rica was executed by Paniagua; with the score 3-0, a penalty came in favor of Salomon Islands and it was perfectly done by Ragomo; however Costa Rican Erick Brenes managed a fourth point and as the game was coming to an end Bule scored for Salomon Islands to make the final score 4-2. Costa Rica had many opportunities to score and didn’t capitalize on them. The next game for Costa Rica is scheduled for Thursday at 5p.m. local time against Kazakhstan.
