Traditional futsal spectacle in front of 2,000 fanatical supporters

Zagreb, 11th September 2016 - Fan-owned futsal club Futsal Dinamo played its traditional preseason game at Salata on 9th September 2016. The biggest specificity of the match is that it was played at the old outdoor stadium in the centre of the City of Zagreb (Croatia) in front of 2,000 fanatical Dinamo supporters.
Every year at the beginning of September, Futsal Dinamo has its traditional presentation of a new team in front of their fans, mostly composed of Bad Blue Boys, the ultras group of FC Dinamo Zagreb. This year Dinamo’s host was a Greek futsal club Doukas AC.
The game was very active with lots of turnarounds. Greek team had the lead three times, and Futsal Dinamo two times, but the game eventually finished with a 5:5 draw.
Futsal Dinamo is a fan-owned club which is run by its members, composed of futsal enthusiasts and supporters of Football Club Dinamo Zagreb, who attend club’s matches in big numbers and elect their leadership on democratic elections.
Futsal Dinamo, as a genuinely fan-owned club, makes significant progress each season. This year they have already signed two Croatian national futsal team members, Vedran Matošević and Kristijan Grbeša, and Douglas Reed, England national futsal team member. Futsal Dinamo is one of the favourites to clinch the Croatian domestic title.
