Salisbury United raring to kick-start season

FUTSAL side FC Salisbury United are gearing up to kick-start their new campaign in the National Futsal League Division Two Midlands/West.

The Corinthians play host to Worcester in Sunday's opener (September 11) at Five Rivers Leisure Centre (3pm).

The club go into the game having finished fifth in South Division 2 last season.

Head coach Geoff Bonner said: "We are thrilled to bring National League Futsal to Salisbury, working in partnership with Five Rivers Leisure Centre and Wiltshire Council, we are in a great position to grow the sport."

"Tickets are available for the game at the venue, with a host of local football talent on display. Our home games are perfect to showcase what Futsal is all about."
