Bahrain News AgencyKhalid bin Hamad Youth Centres Futsal League semi-finals02/09/2016Manama, Sept. 2 (BNA): The two teams that will play in the finals will be determined today at the fourth Khalid bin Hamad Youth Centers Futsal League and first People with Disabilities League, organized the Ministry of Youth & Sports Affairs.
The youth centers semi-finals first match kicks-off today with Abu Saiba Youth Center team facing Safra Youth Center team at 5PM. The second match begins at 6PM with Zallaq, the title holder, facing Al Shakhoora at 6PM.
Both matches will be played at the Bahrain Disabled Sports Federation Hall in Isa Sports City near the National Stadium.
The semi-finalists were decided after Abu Saiba defeated Karranah in the quarter finals with a score of 3-1 and Al Safra qualified by beating Salmabad in the penalty shoot outs. As for Zallaq, they reached the semi-finals by defeating South Sehla in the penalty shoot-outs and Al Shakhoora qualified after defeating Karbabad with a score of 4-0 goals.
All teams have hopes of reaching the finals and these matches will be among the most competitive in the league.
As for the People with Disabilities League, the matches to determine the third and fourth position will be held at 7PM with the Special Education team facing the Deaf Society team.
Zallaq and Al Shakhoora reserve their seats in the semi-finals of the leagueZallaq Youth Center team and Al Shakhoora Youth Center team, reserved their spots in the fourth Khalid bin Hamad Youth Centers Futsal League and first People with Disabilities League, after defeating South Sehla Youth Center team and Karbabad Youth Center team.
Zallaq, the title holder, defeated South Sehla in the penalty shoot outs with a score of 4-3 goals after the two teams tied with 1-1 goals. The goal for South Sehla was scored by Sayed Alawi Sayed Moosa and the Zallaq goal was scored by Attiya Mohamed Khalaf.
Al Shakhoora didn't face any challenge in the second match where they defeated Karbabad with a score of 4-0 goals, the goals were scored by: Hussain Sabt, Ahmed Mohamed Salman, Sayed Amin Ibrahim and Mahmoud Salman.

He praised the efforts of HH Shaikh Khalid bin Hamad in supporting the youth and sports movement in the Kingdom, which in return contributes to the development of this vital sector. He further praised His Highness for establishing a league for people with disabilities which translates the directives of integrating this category of citizens into society, by the wise leadership.

The players include Sayed Jawad Amin, goal keeper of South Sehla Youth Center team and Rashid Bakhit Al Dossari, captain of Zallaq Youth Center team.
Player Ahmed Mohamed Salman from Al Shakhoora, also received the best player of the match award in the quarter final match that had Al Shakhoora Youth Center team face Karbabad Youth Center and this is the second time he wins the award during the league.
Zallaq supporters celebrate their team reaching the semi-finalsThe supporters of Zallaq Youth Center team had a massive celebration after their team defeated South Sehla and qualified to the semi-finals. The fans kept on cheering their team, applauding them throughout the match and congratulated the players after the match ended.
Al Dossari: Our goal is the final and to keep the titleRashid Bakhit Al Dossari, captain of Zallaq Youth Center team, expressed his joy with his team reaching the semi-finals of the league.
He stressed by saying that his team seeks to reach the final match and achieve the title for the second time. He pointed out that his team delivered an outstanding performance during the match against South Sehla Youth center team and they are determined to do their best to achieve their goal.
Salman: We are happy with reaching the semi-finals... and seek to reach the finalsAhmed Mohamed Salman, a player from Al Shakhoora Youth Center team said: "We are happy with reaching the semi-finals, and we have a hard mission in out next task. We did not participate just to mark our attendance. We will seek to reach the finals and compete to achieve the title. We are determined and we hope to achieve our goals in this amazing sports gathering."
