Cassar earns first call-up as Pullicino chooses squad

Sirens’s in-form striker Ryan Gilmour Cassar has been called up to the Malta futsal squad for the first time after he was named in Peter Pullicino’s 14-man list for this month’s double friendly match against Andorra.

Cassar, who started playing futsal five months ago, joins experienced players such as Jovica Milijic, Melvin Borg, Nicola del Re and Glenn Bonello who also featured among the called-up squad.

Malta will play against Andorra at the capital city Andorra La Vella in a double header on June 22nd and 23rd.

Andorra have already played against Malta almost 18 months ago in the preliminary round of the Futsal Euro as they won 4-0.
