Dynamo ten times Champions of Russia

Top scorer Fernandinho and one of the best goalkeepers in the world Gustavo missed the final due to injuries as Dynamo clinched their 10th Russian Championship title.

Dynamo returned to the winning ways after Gazprom pulled two victories at home, drawing the final series 2-2. In the Game 5, the white-and-blues had to come from behind, see their second goalkeeper sent off to secure a 5-2 victory over the reigning UEFA Champions Gazprom and clinch the 10th Russian Superleague Championship.

Both teams had their chances, and the game was strikingly equal. The white-and-blue players only outplayed the visitors in closing minutes of the second overtime, as Gazprom started putting their key players Dmitriy Lyskov and Vladislav Shayakhmetov as a field goalkeeper. But Dynamo increased their lead, making no mistake and scoring in the empty goal.
