Dynamo beat Norilskiy Nikel to boost title hopes

The Moscow team emerged triumphant from a festival of goals at Norilskiy Nikel to pull four points clear at the top of the Russian Championship table after a 5-1 victory on Saturday. In an entertaining game, Dynamo took the lead in the 15th minute when Anatoliy Badretdinov finished off a counter attack with a neat finish for the first of Dynamo’s five goals. Aleksander Fukin added one more just a minute later, but the visitors pulled one back the following minute.

The goals continued to flow, when the hosts regained their two-goal advantage four minutes later when Denis Burkov for his first. The result was confirmed when Fernandinho and Deniv Burkov sent a ball into an empty goal, giving the home side a comfortable victory.
