Shamsaee wins third title in a row as player-coachby
Mahdiar GhaffariTasisat Daryaei Tehran claimed the Iranian Futsal Super League 2015 title on Sunday, thanks to Ghodrat Bahadori's goal scored just 24 seconds to the end. Ferdowsi Mashhad, already had been relegated to the lower division, lost 2-1 at home to the league leaders in a very tough game. Mes Sungun came second on worse goal difference.
Vahid Shamsaee won his third national league title in a row as player-coach, after winning the trophy in 2013 with Dabiri Tabriz and in 2014 with Tasisat Daryaei. 2015 was a brilliant year for the 40-year-old Iranian futsal legend. Shamsaee also lifted the AFC Futsal Club Championship trophy and claimed both the Most Valuable Player and Top Scorer Awards at last year’s AFC Futsal Club Championship and was named the 2015 AFC Futsal Player of the Year.
Tasisat Daryaei's Asghar Hassanzadeh finished as the top scorer of the season with 29 goals. Mohammad Taheri scored 25 goals for Shahid Mansouri and was named the second best scorer.
