1. How popular is futsal in the Czech Republic? Futsal has its own history in the Czech Republic. Futsal is played in the Czech Republic since 1991. Since then, the popularity is rapidly increasing. It's also due to the structure of competitions. Premier League is a nationwide, two second division and a lot of regional leagues.
2. What has been the greatest success in Czech futsal? The biggest success is the bronze medal from the European Championships in 2010 and second place in the Intercontinental Cup last year where we finished ahead of Italy and Brazil.
3. Why are you going to play a friendly against a team that is not even FIFA? Is it a coincidence. About a month ago was asked by Erik Klint, whether we did not want to play against Greenland. A week ago Kazakhstan canceled agreed friendly matches, so I wrote to Erik, if Greenland would not come already in January. And they said they like to come. The agreement is reciprocal. This year, we like to come to play a friendly matches also in Greenland! It's good for us to prepare and do not mind that Greenland is not a member of FIFA. Also very pleased to know new friends. It will be a very pleasant experience
4. What do you know about your opponents? Very little. Far as I know the competition is played in Greenland since 2005 and the first international match you played in 2013. Otherwise, I know that Greenland is the largest island on the world.
5. Outdoors the Czech Republic has produced some great technical players, is that a feature of Chech football that we also can see in the futsal team? I think it is a Czech mentality. We love to play. And so we have a skilful futsal players ...
6. Who are players to watch in your team? All of them. Each player has in team position, role.
7. Is this going to be just a friendly or is it also a preparation for a tournament? It's mainly preparation for the European Championships. The result is not important, but how the players perform the tasks of training in the match.
8. Greenland's last game was agianst Denmark and Greenland won with 5-4. Do you think it will be hard games? It's a result that commands respect. It may be a difficult match.
9. How would you and your players react if you were invited to Greenland for a return match? On trip to Greenland we are looking forward. I know it's a very beautiful country!
10. What is your point of view with respect to the fact that Greenland want to become a FIFA/UEFA member? I am sure for that Greenland became a member of FIFA / UEFA. It would be benefit for all.
