Players' Comments

MINAMOTO Akira (FUCHU ATHLETIC F.C.)
Today was our second training match against Kuwait and we could try some new approaches comparing to the previous match. However, we couldn’t be flexible when they didn’t work well - even though we wanted to try some new tactics but there are times when the opponent doesn’t allow us to do so.
In the world, there are lot of teams with various playing style and we need to respond to them well with alternative playing styles of our own. We want to improve ourselves making the most of the limited time we have before the AFC Futsal Championship by sharing ideas between the team staff and players.
Today we couldn’t score more than 2 goals and that made me feel that it can be difficult for us if we keep missing the scoring chances even when we play against Asian teams. However, as our coach has said that we can’t always make the most of our chances in every match, in that sense I think the fact that we could win today can be well appreciated.

SAKAI Rafael Yoshio (NAGOYA OCEANS)
It was a very difficult match today which required very high physical strength. We could keep a clean sheet and won the match, but we still need to keep working well having this type of match, and sharing our issues to improve our teamwork for the future. The series of training camps has prepared us well for the AFC Futsal Championship. I will do my best, devoting myself for the Japan Futsal National Team to make good results in future.
