Brazil, who will participate in the Copa America that takes place in Ecuador in August, will be coached by Sergio Schiochet ‘Serginho’ again. He left the national team four months ago after differences with the CBFS and he is currently the coach of FutsalBRKirin in the Brazilian league.

The appointment was announced at a press conference which was attended by Brazilian internationals Falcao, Tiago and Rodrigo. The players and CBFS president also spoke about the agreement that has been reached between the players and the CBFS, after the players had been on strike for an extended period in protest at the management of the organisation.
