USAFutsal are hosting the
2015 Women’s Futsal Cup, the worlds’ premier showcase of top women’s futsal clubs from across the globe. There will be a simultaneous Youth Competition, featuring four age categories, creating a true festival of female futsal. All this will take place in
Spain, just north of Madrid in the city of Guadalajara between
25th-28th June, 2015.
The adult competition will feature six of the top women’s professional clubs coming from across the world. It will include Spanish champions Atletico Madrid who will also enter teams in all the youth divisions. They will face other professional teams including clubs from the USA and Australia.
After the outstanding success of the World Futsal Cup in Barcelona over the last three years, USAFutsal was inspired to create a tournament of the same high calibre but exclusively for females. It will be the first time a girls’ youth tournament will be held in conjunction with a professional women’s futsal tournament. This gives participants an opportunity not only to play in an elite tournament against teams from other countries but also watch, meet and be inspired by top women futsal players.
Each category will feature six teams, all guaranteed a minimum of four games over three days of intense competition. Each player will receive an Official Tournament Swag Pack, which includes an official Women’s Futsal Cup Tournament Shirt. In addition to the overall trophies there will be individual and team awards presented during the closing ceremony on 28th June.
For those that want to take part in this unique event USAFutsal offers a package that takes care of all the team’s needs. This including accommodation, 3 meals per day and local transportation. Alternatively teams can pay the tournament registration fee and make their own arrangements.
