The Wolves Chase Serie A Title

With the 7-1 victory at home to CORIGLIANO Pescara finished top in the regular season. The Italian Champions, whose kit is supplied by AGLA, finished in second place after losing 5-2 to Asti and qualify for the championship playoffs. CORIGLIANO who finished in the penultimate position, were passed by Napoli at the wire and so will fight for their top flight survival.

Looking at an individual level, good news comes from an AGLA ENDORSEE. MANOEL BARNARDES CREMA, playing for Rieti, was the top goalscorer in the regular season with 23 goals. The third places was taken by other AGLA-BOY FIRMINO DA COSTA FERNANDEZ, known as “Waltinho”, of Luparense with 18 goals.

"Yes, I am very happy."

How many goals can you score in the playoffs?
"Whatever happens, happens. The important thing is that the team does well."

In your view was the regular season won by the best team?
"It was a very even league. No team has emerged over others by a significant margin. All the favorites of the league suffered defeats, especially away from home."

Which team is favorite for the title?
"Hard to say. Asti has come close over the last few years. Pescara is still strong. In the end we hope to be there too."

How far can Rieti go?
"There are no limits, but we have to think one game at a time. First, we have to worry about passing the quarter-finals against Acqua & Sapone. We can not repeat the mistake of the Coppa Italia where we went out in the first round."

How have you AGLA shoes done this season?
"I chose the ONE and I must say I am very happy with this model. They are good, not too low profile and I like them a lot."
