Italy KO’d 2-1 by Czechs with ERCOLESSI goal

The Italy National Futsal Team start 2015 with defeat. At the PalaBrillia in Corigliano Calabro the Azzurri of Roberto Menichelli were defeated 2-1 by Czech Republic in the first of two friendlies between the teams.

Italy put in a good performance and dominated their opponents, especially in the first half but also the second, creating several chances to win. However, it was their opponents who celebrated the victory. The first half ended 1-1 with goals by Belej and AGLA ENDORSED MARCO ERCOLESSI. The decisive goal was scored on 18min24sec by Resetar. The second friendly against the Czechs led by Neumann will be played at PalaErcole Policore and streamed live on the Divisione Calcio 5 website.

Among the Azzurri there were several AGLA-BOYS. In the starting five Menichelli fielded goalkeeper STEFANO MAMMARELLA and MARCO ERCOLESSI. Others involved included MASSIMO DE LUCA, ALEX MERLIM, local boy FABRICIO URIO, MURILO FERREIRA JULIAO and ANGELO SCHININA.
