Italy thrash Holland and AGLA-BOY DE LUCA scoresPalaRoma was filled with 2,500 spectators (of which 700 came from schools and local futsal clubs) as the Italian national futsal team beat the Netherlands 6-1 in the first of two tests in the Abruzzo region.
It was a festival of goals, one of which involved AGLA-BOY MASSIMO DE LUCA who got the third of Menichelli’s side. In the friendly with Holland the AGLA ENDORSED players were DAVIDE PUTANO, MARCO ERCOLESSI and HUMBERTO HONORIO in the starting line-up and DE LUCA, ANGELO SCICHINA, MURILO FERREIRA JULIAO and goalkeeper FRANCESCO MOLITIERNO on the bench.
Holland took the lead after less than three minutes with El Morabiti but Moreira got the equaliser to make it 1-1 at halftime. In the second half goals by Canal, DE LUCA, Giasson, Calderolli and Leggiero gave a final score of 6-1. The match was played with the ball BOLA FUTSAL OFFICIAL by AGLA.
MASSIMO DE LUCA commented to www.divisionecalcioa5.it: "I would not say it was a difficult start, they have scored with their first shot on goal. Let's say that in recent games we are not so lucky. The important thing, however, was the reaction and I think in the end we played a great game and we are happy. Scoring is beautiful, I hope not to finish here. I dedicate this goal to my girlfriend and my family, who sacrifice so much for me."
Then he commented on the crowded hall: "Beautiful, a great moment for our sport. With TV, so many people at the arena ... really nice. It is deserved and the reward for all the work we have done over the years. I hope that the people enjoyed themselves, now we hope to entertain the people of Teramo".
On December 3 the team play against Poland at Pala San Nicolò di Teramo. The contest will be broadcast on RAI Sport 2. Real-time updates will be available on the website of the Division Futsal (www.divisionecalcioa5.it) and Facebook group "Nazionale italiana futsal" and Twitter (@DivCalcio5).
On December 2nd the major Italian sports dailies Gazzetta dello Sport, Corriere dello Sport - Stadium and Tuttosport have printed an AGLA advert. The initiative is part of the promotional campaign for the launch of the AGLA brand and its products.
