Haji Named Best Foreign Player in Tajikistan Futsal Award Gala 2014

Iranian players in Tajikistan futsal league had an unforgettable night in the Tajikistan Futsal Award gala2014.

At the gala 2014 which was held at Vahdat Hall of Dushanbe, the best of Tajikistan football and futsal season were named and awarded with their trophies.

Dici Invest which claimed Tajikistan futsal league title won best foreign player, best goalkeeper and best team of the year awards. Disi Invest’s Iranian player Nasser Haji won the best foreign player of the year. He had tough competition with his three fellow citizens Nasser Babaie, Morteza Vakili and Reza Khaleghi.

Iranian famous futsal coach Hossein Shams who was special guest in the ceremony presented the championship trophy to the Disi Investment skipper.

The ceremony was held by Tajikistan Football Federation and son of Tajikistan President was present and presented awards of the winners.
The ceremony began with welcoming the guests especially Iran’s former national futsal head coach Shams and he was invited to come on the stage when the futsal awards were distributed.

Shams won the world best futsal coach of the year award in 2009. He awarded all prizes in the futsal category and Rostam son of the Tajikistan President was busy with presenting the football awards.

The surprise of the night was when Disi Investment’s Iranian head coach Benjamin Eghbali failed to win the best coach of the year award. The Disi Investment officials were upset about the decision and were complaining.
The organizers of the ceremony also honored the sponsors of the league. They also played a clip of FIFA President Sepp Blatter to appreciate him. Tajikistan President had named 2014 as “Year of Tajikistan Football”.
