La Suppercoppa AGLA goes to Acqua & Sapone

In front of a large crowd Acqua & Sapone Pescara claimed the Suppercoppa Italia AGLA by winning 6-1 against Luparense, who had won the last two editions. In the PalaBruel di Bassano del Grappa the team from Abruzzo were straight out the blocks and led Musti’s boys 3-0 within 10 minutes through goals from Leitao, De Oliveria and Schiochet. The reaction from the Venetians was slow but noticeable. They upped their pressing and the match turned into a stalemate with Acqua & Sapone taking their 3 goal advantage into the break.

The second half began with Luparense trying to get back into the game. In the 9th minute Reuben scored after taking full advantage of HONORIO’s pass. LUPI kept their opponents penned back in their half and Musti decided to play the fly goalkeeper card. However, Acqua & Sapone did not succumb and managed to add goals from Calderolli Leitao and Borruto to give a final score of 6-1.
