AGLA & The Hereos of the TRICOLOR (2)LUPARENSE, sponsored by AGLA, is preparing to face the new season with two important additions; a coach and a company.
The Venetian club and the coach Fulvio Colini have mutually agreed not to renew his two year contract that runs out on 30th June. The decision, by both parties, comes at the end of a two year winning cycle during which he filled LUPARENSE’s trophy cabinet with four titles; a Scudetto, an Italian Cup and two Italian Super Cups.
Further, the WOLVES have concluded an agreement with a new business partner. Sperotto S.p.A., the Vicenza-based company established in 1963 that produces equipment for the farming industry, associates its brand with the most successful club in Italy.
Do not forget the impact of the great tricolour business enacted through the six AGLA BOYS. Uncompromising MARCO ERCOLESSI said “The club has built a team to win with the definite aim to get the tricolore. A few difficulties passed shortly before the beginning of the playoffs, caused some absentees and shook our confidence. Eventually, considering that we had the most complicated route with Rieti and Asti one after another, we have proven we are the best. The mistake has been to allow Acqua & Sapone to get to Game 5.”
“The series was very exciting. The won the opening match, the second contest was secured with one of our best performances, although with only a one goal margin. Game 3 was a statement of suffering for us and Game 4 we should have won but fortunately everything was fine in the end. Acqua & Sapone was a strong team that was in form, very dynamic and with good organisation. They defended well and attacked even better. The experience that some of us have through having already won the title previously made the difference in the decisive moments. LUPARENSE, despite all the changes during the last few years, deserves to be at the top of the sport. As they say ‘appetite comes with eating’….”.
The reliable ALEX MERLIM said “By winning the Scudetto we showed all our strength. It was not easy to win against teams of the caliber of Asti and Acqua & Sapone. The arrival of Marca, Nora, Ercolessi, Bertoni and Follador was important for us, although at the beginning we had some problems of understanding each other. Their game was different from ours, especially when not in possession. I celebrated this achievement a lot because I almost did not believe it. The most difficult point was the defeat on penalties after Game 4 of the Final Series. Our opponents had many absentees and played almost with 5 players and had to win like that. Then, with their full squad we beat them. Again, this is futsal.”
PABLO TABORDA was effective in every second that he was deployed on court. “It was great, especially considering how the Final Series went. I experienced huge emotions. I celebrate for a long time, even with my family members that have come down from Pescara to support me; Really good times. It was not a victory that came by accident. The team was convinced from the outset that it was able to win the title. Prior to the semi-final against Asti we were told that if we qualified we would have a great chance to win the Scudetto. That is how it turned out. It was wonderful.”
BOLA FUTSAL OFFICIAL is the result of a partnership between Italian futsal and AGLA . It has a controlled bounce, is made of PU (polyurethane) and is available the approved sizes 3 and 3+, produced specifically for youth players.
The CONDOR model is equipped with the new technological development AGLA GRIP CONTROL, for absolute grip on court. The upper is made of a nubuck and breathable canvas. The sole uses a new concept of an eva foam ANTI-SHOCK insert, a system designed by AGLA to prevent tendinitis and micro trauma that over time can damage ligaments. It has the brand logo with breathable rubber. The model CONDOR is designed for fast and technical players who like to take to the court with light shoes. HONORIO, FORTINO and DE LUCA have worn the CONDOR model when they were crowned champions at the last Futsal Euro Championships in Antwerp.
