LUPARENSE Have Match Point

Is it the day of the Championship? AGLA supplied LUPARENSE believed and has match point after winning last Wednesday in PalBruel in the third match of a fascinating series. Tonight, 9th June, in the Palaroma Montesilvano at 20.30 (Live on Rai Sport 2) Game 4 will be played and Colini’s side can win the league for the fifth time.

Game 3, which LUPARENSE won 4-3, was full of emotions and curiosly had the same ending as Game 2. Murilo scored an own goal with 35 seconds until the end of regular time, when everyone was expecting it to go to penalties. Acqua & Sapone had taken the lead through Calderolli. LUPARENSE equalised with a beautiful goal scored by AGLA ENDORSED and captain of the WOLVES, HONORIO.

The hosts carried on trying, and found the advantage through Canal to make it 2-1. At the end of the half, the team from Abruzzo used the fly goalkeeper and equalised at 2-2 through Murilo. With this result the teams went into the break.

In the second half, after applauding the boys from Venice who were Italian Champions and Runners Up in the youth categories, Acqua & Sapone took the lead. Cuzzolino found Calderolli from deep and he found the goal for 3-2.

Luparense Head Coach, Colini, decided to employ Follador as fly goalkeeper to find the equaliser. With excellent movement of the ball by LUPARENSE, Nora asissts the goal of AGLA ENDORSED WALTINHO. The Venetians continued with the fly goalkeeper and were rewarded with the own goal by Murilo.
