Leadership Summit Schedule and Presenters Announced

Overland Park, Kan. (June 10, 2014) - U.S. Youth Futsal has announced the schedule and list of presenters for the upcoming Futsal Leadership Summit taking place June 12-14 in Milwaukee.
U.S. Soccer Director of Youth National Teams Jim Moorhouse and FIFA Futsal Referee Instructor Ed Marco are special guest presenters. Moorhouse will address attendees on behalf of the Federation on Friday morning, while on Saturday Marco will provide recommendations for training and developing top quality futsal referees.

U.S. Men's National Futsal Team Head Coach Keith Tozer, who is U.S. Youth Futsal's Technical Director, will participate in a panel discussion about marketing and will lead sessions on FUTSAL I.D. and coach education.

"It is a privilege and honor to have Jim Moorhouse, Ed Marco and Keith Tozer participating in the U.S. Youth Futsal Leadership Summit," reflected Jon Parry, U.S. Youth Futsal's executive director. "They are highly respected leaders nationally and internationally and bring immeasurable experience and expertise to the event."

Summit attendees will take in two matches between the national futsal teams of the United States and France on June 12 and 14, and will also attend a training session on June 13. Tozer will lead pre-game "chalk talk" sessions prior to each match, exclusively for summit registrants.

Additional guest presenters during the three-day convention are Craig Scriven of United States Specialty Sports Association, Gerry High of HTG Sports and Matt Schroeder of Footnote Communications.

"The Summit features presenters that operate the largest futsal leagues in the country and experts from outside of U.S. Youth Futsal," said U.S. Youth Futsal Director of Development John Sciore. "I am confident that the attendees will leave the Summit more knowledgeable, inspired and motivated about the sport."

The event commences on June 12 with a "State of U.S. Youth Futsal" address to be delivered by Parry and Sciore. After sessions on marketing, Eastern Premier Futsal and the U.S. Youth Futsal calendar, participants will attend Tozer's chalk talk and the international friendly.

On June 13, Moorhouse will be followed by USMNFT training and presentations on social media, FUTSAL I.D., coach education, regional and national tournaments and competition. Saturday welcomes Marco, High, Scriven and sessions about futsal academies and marketing. The summit concludes with downtown Milwaukee's World Futsal Fest, a chalk talk by Tozer and the second USAFrance match.

More than 40 leaders from across the country will be attending the three-day conference.
