Dominican Republic Hosts Futsal Grand Prix

Santo Domingo, Feb 1

Dominican Republic, Cuba, Haiti and Guatemala will compete in an international Futsal Grand Prix in this capital this weekend, organizers announced.

The Volleyball Palace of the Olympic Center will be the venue of the tournament, said Adalberto Rodriguez, president of the Soccer Association in the national district.

According to the schedule, Cubans and Guatemalans will open the tournament today; followed by a match between the hosts and Haiti.

The losers will compete on Sunday for the Bronze medal and the winners will look for the gold.
