Thailand did a clean sweep of gold medals after recording wins in men’s and women’s futsal in the 2013 SEA Games as the losing finalists in both occasions were Vietnam.

The Vietnamese, who are hosting the next year’s AFC Futsal Championship in Ho Chi Minh City, were beaten 8-1 by Thailand as the AFC Futsal Championship 2012 runners-up wrecked up three first half goals and added five more in the second half.

Likewise, the Thai women also dominated the final against the same opponent beating them 5-0 with captain Srimanee Orathai netting two goals.
