3 time World Cup champions and the only team with the name of the trophy, Brazil, will face the tournament hosts Spain today in the Women's World Cup Final.

Both teams topped their groups and won convincingly in the semi-finals. To qualify for the final Brazil defeated Portugal 5-1 and Spain came from a goal down to beat Russia 4-1.

It is a repeat of the 2011 final in which Brazil won a evenly matched game 4-3 after extra time. Brazil will be the favourites but Spain are hoping that being at home can give them the advantage to go that step further this time.
