The-AFC.comThe Football Association of Malaysia has made history as it holds the first AFC futsal coaching course for the Malaysian police force.
The FAM is organising the AFC Futsal Level 1 Coaching Course from October 29 to November 5 at the Royal Malaysian Police College in Cheras, in the national capital, to develop more potential coaches in the police department.
The course is attended by 20 selected potential coaches from Malaysia Police’s sports department, aimed at educating and developing potential futsal coaches in the nation with proper futsal information.
There are also additional 10 participants who are observers in the course to enhance their futsal knowledge.
Assistant Superintendent of Police Dali Mohd Wahid from Malaysia is the course’s chief instructor assisted by Chiew Chun Yong also from Malaysia.
“A good plan is like a road map,” said Ali Targholizade, AFC Futsal Director of Futsal Department.
“It shows the final destination and is usually the best way to get there and this coaching course will be able to develop more potential futsal coaches in the police department.
“And these coaches are going to be responsible to train and produce more men and women futsal players in the state and nation in near future.”
The police training college has thanked the AFC and the FAM for the approval to conduct the course and hoped to see more coaching courses introduced in the police department to raise the standard of futsal in the country.
The Level 1 certificate is the basic futsal coaching credential from which holders can proceed to take the next and higher qualification, the Level 2 certificate.
