Iran international Masoud Daneshvar and He Yihui scored a brace apiece as Shenzhen Nanling leave it late to beat Al Sadaka 5-4 in a keenly contested Group A match of the AFC Club Futsal Championship 2013 at the Ocean Arena on Wednesday.

Shenzhen, who played 2-2 draw against Vietnam’s Thai Son Nam on Tuesday, were much better side from the beginning as Daneshvar scored a quickfire brace in the first and third minute of the match.

Al Sadaka’s Kassem Kawsan reduced the deficit to 2-1 in the 18th minute but they failed to keep it for long and Brazilian Danilo Moura extended the two-goal advantage of the Chinese side in the 22nd minute.

Yihui’s first goal was scored in the 28th minute but three quick goals from Al Sadaka almost staged their memorable comeback. Karim Zaid continued from where he left on Tuesday by scoring his first of the match in the 37th minute followed by his another goal of the evening in the 38th minute.

Ali El Homsi almost snatched a point for Al Sadaka but Yihui’s second in the 39th minute ensured 5-4 win for the Chinese side who have bagged four points so far from two matches.

With the defeat, Al Sadaka are out of reckon for the knockout stages of the competition.

“This match could be very attractive for the fans but not for the managers,” Al Sadaka coach Hassan Deeb said after the match.

“Our plan was to get at least a point from this match and stay alive in the championship but this did not happen, we could not hold on for a point in the last minute.

“Regardless of the results, I am happy with my players, they played really well.

“We are eliminated from the competition but the efforts will be same on Thursday as we play for the pride of Lebanon futsal,” he added.

Shenzhen coach Adil Amarante, who promised on Tuesday to improve their overall game against Al Sadaka, stressed that his team was not yet an end product and they need more improvement.

“The match was very tough as I expected,” he said.

“We struggled to get consistency as we were fantastic on occasions and at the same time there were wayward futsal at times.

“The players struggled to follow the instructions so we clearly need improvement.

“Tomorrow we will face Nagoya Oceans and they are one of the best sides playing here. Our focus is to grind a point at least and make it into the semi-final,” he added.
