As part of our coverage of the
Mini Club World Cup in
Kuwait we have been conducting interviews, not only with the players and coaches, but also the key people behind the scenes. This time it is the turn of
Ali Reza Hadi, part of the technical committee and an important figure in the organisation of the event.
Reza Hadi has been working in futsal for 13 years and started with organising Rhamadan tournaments in Kuwait. He was the first person to recruit professional players to these tournaments in the country. Later he worked in the Kuwait Futsal League, first in Fahahil SC and now Kuwait SC. Below are his thoughts on the tournament.
Which are the best teams you have seen?Santiago from Spain and Alumnus from Croatia.
Which is the player that has impressed you the most?Alan Brandi from Santiago.
Which was the most entertaining game?Santiago against Pinocho in the quarter final.
What has been the impact of the tournament in KuwaitAll the community of Kuwait and the region have been talking about the tournament and the mascot, Kuti, has become a famous character in the country. I think futsal will become well developed in the country and region.
