OFC Futsal Champs 2013

Meanwhile, while the Fiji side will not be participating at the 2013 Oceania Football Confederation (OFC) Futsal Championship, two of our local referees will be flying our flag at the regional meet.

"Amitesh Behari and Jainut Dean have been named in the 13-member referees' panel to officiate at the annual event," the Fiji FA media reports. Behari still fresh after officiating at the FIFA Futsal World Cup, will be looking to add another star to his colourful career.

"Schoolteacher Dean who got his first appointment during the 2011 OFC Futsal World Cup playoffs will be looking to go one better come his second appointment."

The 2013 OFC Futsal Championship will be held in New Zealand from July 23 to July 27.

Since the championship not being a World Cup playoff, the Australia, Malayasia national teams have been invited along with a NZ invitational side.
