Futsal goalkeeper makes save – then breaks away to score for Carlos Barbosa

Futsal goalkeeper Rennan lived the dream of every man between the sticks for his side on Monday night.

The Carlos Barbosa stopper produced a fine save at one end in the Brazilian league, before taking off on a solo run in a bid to extend his side’s advantage.

Rennan beat one pretty dismal challenge close to his own area, and then quickly found himself running one-on-one against an Atlético Erechim defender.

Already 4-1 up, the pressure was off the number 19, and he took full advantage with a calm side-foot finish round the last man and into the bottom corner.

Mad celebrations followed, with the keeper jumping around his teammates on the substitutes bench, before offering kisses through the air to the fans.
