The Borneo PostFatimah Bersatu win Miri JBS futsalJuly 13, 2013, SaturdayMIRI: Fatimah Bersatu Sdn Bhd (FBSB) B team emerged champion in the Sport League For All futsal competition organised by Miri’s Youth and Sports Department (JBS) recently.
The second place was won by FBSB A team followed by Miri City team which finished third placing.
Twenty teams took part in the competition which was held at futsal court of Borneo Futsal Sdn Bhd.
The winners received their prizes from Miri’s JBS Youth and Sports Officer, Mohammad Shukeri Drahman who said that the competition was aimed to encourage people to take sports for healthy living.
A volleyball competition was also organised in conjunction with Sports For All campaign and 10 teams took part in the event held at the futsal court of 20 Battalion Royal Malay Army Regimen (RAMD) Sri Miri Camp.
The competition was won by CETA team followed by Blaze team and Subis team which finished third.
The winners received their prizes from chairperson of 20th Batallion RAMD Army Charity Body (BAKAT), Rozita Mohd Jamil.
