The teams are in Kuwait ready for the start of the Mini Club World Cup and they have been afforded the finest accommodation the country has to offer. They are staying in the 5 star Regency Hotel in Kuwait City which includes 2 private beaches and 5 swimming pools.
One entering the hotel you encounter a white marble lobby which has become the engine room of the tournament as well as place for the teams, officials and organisers to meet and interact with each other. At meal times an international menu is provided, offering a wide selection, to cover all tastes.
This impressive hospitality is down to the organisers and, above all,
Sheikh Talal Al-Mohammad, chairman of the higher organising committee, whose generosity and consideration meant that he wanted only the best for his guests. He has certainly delivered with all the visitors having been suitably impressed with the accommodation and are enjoying their stay in Kuwait.
With the teams having a lot of free time between training and meal times there has been plenty of time to relax and take advantage of the facilities. One team, Alumnus from Croatia, has utilised the time to be creative and posted the following video on YouTube that they made.
