Adam BakerSuperb progress for Trust’s top teamsThe Bristol City Community Trust’s top Futsal teams have progressed through to the national finals in Birmingham on Saturday, July 6th.
The Trust’s A team were the best in their ‘South Midlands’ group, progressing top of their table with Cheltenham Town in second place.
The A team will now face Crystal Palace, Hull City and Rotherham United in Group 4 of the national finals.
There are four groups in total, with the top sides from a round-robin stage progressing into the quarter-finals and so on.
The Trust’s B team, meanwhile, finished second in their ‘South Midlands’ group and face a six-team round-robin format involving Sheffield United, Grimsby Town, Reading, Brighton & Hove Albion and Chesterfield.
This time the top four teams in each group will progress to the quarter-finals.
Both the A and B tournaments will take place at Birmingham’s National Futsal Arena on July 6th.
