World United to replace Boca Juniors

Due to unforeseen circumstances which have halted the administration of Boca Juniors futsal operations, the historic club team from Argentina will no longer be able to participate in the 2013 Intercontinental Futsal Cup. They have been replaced by the American champions, World United FC. World United is most famous for their appearance in the 2007 Intercontinental Futsal Cup in Portugal and are eager to compete again.

“We are excited to get the invitation to the 2013 tournament. Our team is ready and looking forward to the world-class competition we will face.” – Vava Marques, Head Coach

World United is comprised of many players who are both current and former members of the US Futsal National Team; A national team that just won the 4 Nations Tournament in England last week. They will be in great spirits coming into this tournament, with an opportunity to showcase themselves at the highest level.
