Super Sunday in Spain

Wins for Barcelona Alusport and El Pozo Murcia have took both semi-finals into the 3rd decisive game where the winners will earn a place in the final.

On Friday Barcelona Alusport equaled the series against Caja Segovia after a 7-2 victory. The regular season winners initially went behind before taking a 3-2 lead into half-time. Four goals, in the second half including two goals from Sergio Lozano, secured the win for the Azulgrana. They will play again in front of a home crowd at the Palau at 17.00CET to decide who will take one of the final spots.

Saturday saw El Pozo require a victory against their long time rivals Inter Movistar after losing in Madrid last week. They didn't disappoint their fans earning a 5-3 victory with a man of the match performance from captain Kike Boned. El Pozo were deserved winners and after taking the lead after 9 minutes they never surrendered it. At 20.00CET the battle will commence to see who will earn the right to fight for the championship in the final.
