CBFSBrazil do the double over Costa RicaThe Brazilian national team completed the double in the two friendlies against Costa Rica. On Friday the 5 time World Champions won 3-0 over the Costa Ricans in Foz do Iguaçu and on Sunday defeated them 4-1 in São José de Pinhais.
In the first of the two contests, Ney Pereira's team went ahead through a Rodrigo penalty after a foul on Je. In the second half Jackson scored the second from the 10m penalty spot. Finally Zico surprised Costa Rica's goalkeeper with a low drive.
In the second game Brazil demonstrated they were far superior and showed their best game with Jackson, who opened the scoring, being the main protagonist. Cost Rica drew level with a goal from Sandi but Zico, Dyego and Jackson, his second, scored to give victory to the Brazilians.
