Details of 8th SloFutsal Festival

Below we include all the important details about the 8th SloFutsal Festival with 3.100,00 euros prize money, that will take place at Sports park ROVN, Selca pri Železnikih, SLOVENIJA from 21st to 23rd June 2013.

Important - Only the first 42 teams will enter the tournament! Team is accepted to the tournament only after entry fee is paid to our account!

RULES:
Tournament is played according to UEFA futsal rules 4+1, with low bounce ball size 4, on asphalt court. Rules have few exceptions from official FIFA rules:
10 meter penalty shot:
10 meter penalty shot is shot after 5th accumulated foul – group stage
10 meter penalty shot is shot after 6th accumulated foul – 1/8, ¼, semi final and final

Giving ball back to goalkeeper:
Goalkeeper can touch the ball every time it crosses the halfway line line or any player of the opposite team touches it. The ball can be passed to the goalkeeper directly after every restart.

TOURNAMENT SYSTEM:

GROUP STAGE:
First it is played in groups of 3 teams with all winners and 2 best second placed teams among all groups qualifying for the top 16 team knockout phase.

GROUP RANKING:
Ranking is decided by: number of points. Win gives team three (3) points, Draw gives one (1) point to each team - both teams take penalties (3 different players of each team from 6 meter spot, after 3 shooters penalties continue with sudden death). Best team in penalties has the advantage in group ranking in case these 2 teams have equal number of points.
If number of points is equal for all 3 teams in group - it is goal difference that counts, more scored goals, fair play and if everything is still equal, the draw will decide which team qualifies to 1/8 of finals..

KNOCK OUT SYSTEM:
From 1/8 of finals till the final tournament continious with knock out system. In case of a draw, penalty shooting decides which team qualifies for the next stage.
For 3rd place there is no game played – penalties decide who is 3rd.

PLAYING TIME
In groups – 2x12 minutes without stopping the clock.
From 1/8 finals till Final: 2 x 15 minutes without stopping the clock.

TIME OUT:
One (1) time out of 30 seconds per MATCH (not each half!) allowed from 1/8 final to the end.

APPLICATION DEADLINE:
Teams must apply and pay entry fee for the tournament no later then Sunday, 16. June 2013

PRIZE MONEY:
3.100 € + 21 CUPS (TROPHIES)

1st Place – 1.500 € + cup
2nd Place – 700 € + cup
3rd Place – 400 € + cup
4th Place – 300 € + cup
5-8th place – 50 € + trophy

AWARDS:
DREAM TEAM OF THE TOURNAMENT (5 best players) will be selected:
BEST PLAYER, BEST GOALKEEPER, BEST SCORER (from ¼ till final) + 2 MEMBERS
They all get attractive cups and sponsor's gifts

ACCOMODATION:
All teams can use camping site near sport park Rovn (100 meters from the court) for FREE all days of the tournament (from 21.6. – 24.6.2013).
