MFK Dinamo posted a comprehensive 6-0 second-leg victory against MFK Tyumen to prevail 7-3 on aggregate and win the Russian Cup for the seventh time.
Trailing 3-1 from this week's first instalment in Tyumen, the UEFA Futsal Cup semi-finalists responded with intent despite injuries to several first-team players. Nando and Fernandinho both found the net twice, while Pula and goalkeeper Gustavo added the final flourishes.
"I want to congratulate my team. We have done a remarkable job after the first leg," said Dinamo coach Faustino Pérez, whose side face Iberia Star Tbilisi in the last four of the UEFA Futsal Cup on 26 April. "It was a brilliant result and I want to thank my players and our opponents, who also played very well."
"We have played the best team in Europe," added Tyumen boss Evgeni Osintsev. "We knew they would be motivated and we were ready for the challenge. Unfortunately, one disappointing half has cost us the game. We lacked energy and were unable to rest key players. I want to congratulate Dinamo on their victory. They were the stronger team today."
