Bintulu futsal tourney postponed

BINTULU: The Bintulu Football Association (Bifa) -Lea Sport Centre Futsal Championship to be held at Stadium Muhibbah had to be postponed to April 26-28 because of the 13th general election nomination day.
According to the organising committee chairman, Zaifulfadillah Junaidi the teams’ managers and representatives meeting will be held on April 24 at 7.30pm.

He confirmed that 40 teams are taking part in the men’s category and another 20 for the women’s category.

The champion in men’s category will receive RM4,000 and a challenge trophy; the runner-up will receive RM2,000 and a trophy while third place will receive RM1,000 and a trophy.

The winner in the women’s category will receive RM2,000 and a trophy; while second and third places will receive RM1,000 and RM500 respectively.
