"Stopping the ball with the sole. When I came to Italy for the first time my coach Lino Gomes repeated practising the use of the sole in every training session. Whoever did not use it would not play. Stopping the ball with the sole makes it easier to play."

"White pasta and a slice of chicken with salad and a piece of fruit, a banana or apple."

"Nicolodi from Pescara, he is is fast and very powerful."

"Gabriel Lima of Asti. We played together in Aosta in my first season in Italy. He is intelligent and very strong. He is good both on and off the court."
