The Brookings Futbol Club U17 girls’ team won their division in the Futsal Flurry Indoor Tournament in Watertown. The girls qualified for the title game after dropping their first game to DASC U17G Rhythm, 2-0; beating Watertown U19G, 2-0; and then falling to DASC Rhythm 2, 4-3. BFC avenged its first loss with a 1-0 victory over DASC U17G Rhythm in the championship. Members of the team include Kinsey Kurtenbach, Courtney Woodring, Emily Shumaker, Sydney Hirrschoff, Maggie Helgeland, Kirby Hesler, Jessica Rames and Coach Travis White.

The Brookings Futbol Club U19 boys’ team placed second in the Futsal Flurry Indoor Tournament in Watertown. They went 2-1 in qualifying for the championship game where they lost to GFC from Groton. Members of the team include: Derek Tramp, Billy Stewart, Kilian Surat, Alexander Stenehjem, Brock Peterson, Damon Bayer, Mathew Lorenzen, Cody Jeppesen and Coach Jack Fehrenz.
