AGLA PLAYERS lift La Coppa Italia

Five years on and Alter Ego Luparense returned to win the La Coppa Italia Serie A once again. Debutants Cogianco Gezano were defeated by the goals inflicted by AGLA REPRESENTATIVE HUMBERTO HONORIO, who registered the first for Colini's men, and ROGERIO who scored the decisive goals in the second half after Cogianco Gezano had temporarily equalised.

The protagonist of the final was the other AGLA REPRESENTATIVE DAVIDE PUTANO, almost unbeatable goalkeeper of the Veneto squad. AGLA's presence in the final was further increased with two other REPRESENTATIVES, MANOEL CREMA and SIMONE DE BELLA, of Cogianco.

The magnificent HONORIO, captain of Luparense and key figure of the Italian Nation Team, was awarded The Best Player of the Tournament Award at the event held in Pala John Paul II. The final was celebrated with the attendance of more than 2000 spectators and saw HONORIO receive the coveted award from the hands of MISTER AGLA, AMEDEO INFRICCIOLI. AGLA, as a sponsor of the DIVISIONE CALIO A 5, helped with the organisation of the event which has attracted, for four days in Pescara and Montesilvano, many fans of this sport.

In the women's competition it was Sardians of Sinnai that were able to lift La Coppa Italia into the air. Lucileia, voted Best Player of the Tournament, and teammates fought for a 3-2 victory over Italcave Real Statte, for whom the Pala John Paul II hall did not bring any luck. Just three years ago the women from Taranto were defeated in the final of the final eight by Sporting Torrino by the same score. For Sardinian community this was their first triumph at national level in their history.

The final of the La Coppa Italian Under 21 was very equal with eventual winners Asti overcoming Kaos Futsal 5-2 in extra time. The guys from Piedmont have taken the winners badge from the shirts of the team from Bologna. Koas who played exceptionally have still came away with one trophy, the one presented to Tuli, voted Best Player of the Competition.

The flag wavers of Bucchianico provided the entertainment before the match and during half time. Before the game the school "Mario Giardini" from Penne was awarded the winner of the schools competition as part of the 'Values on Court' project. The medal was awarded by the President of the Republic, President of the youth and education sector of the FIGC, Gianni Riveri, who attended the final alongside the President of the league, Fabrizio Tonelli.

AGLA, the futsal specialist. The brand from Marche has established itself with its professional products for the sport, both in Italy and around the world. Footwear, balls, clothing and accessories are preferred by players whenever they play futsal and receive their recognition due to the fact that they always enhance performance.

To support all the stores that have supplied and continue to supply AGLA equipment and at the same time promote and increase awareness of this wonderful sport of futsal, we created the AGLA SPECIALIST project that has been active for some years. It is structured package of benefits that AGLA offers thanks to the trust that has been built up with all those involved in futsal.

AGLA is collaborating with Divisione Calcio A 5 (Italian 1st Division) through the provision of equipment and they have initiated an interesting, innovative and experimental project called LO CALCIO 5. The project's objective is to start futsal schools through the clubs of Serie A, Serie A2 and Serie B. A 'Lo Calcio a 5 Technical Guide' has been produced that provides information of the technical fundamentals of futsal. The book has been illustrated with simple drawings, pictures and diagrams. AGLA is supporting this project with clothing and bags.

AGLA has also agreed a partnership with the L'UNIONE ITALIANA SPORT PER TUTTI and with CIRCUITO 24HR, two organisations that arrange futsal events in sport facilities located throughout the whole of Italy.

AGLA organises special events at stores called AGLA DAY. These aim is to provide information on AGLA products with the presence of AGLA PLAYERS. With over 100 of these it is an opportunity to find out about the players' direct experience of our products and all the various features they include.
